C-SPAN 2, New York City, Union League Club. The Grant Monument Association‘s Ulysses S. Grant bicentennial colloquy, which followed the association’s annual dinner on April 27, 2022, will be shown on C-SPAN 2 on May 28, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. (EDT), during Memorial Day weekend.
The colloquy discussion includes insights from Dr. Ronald C. White, Jr., author of American Ulysses: A Life of Ulysses S. Grant, and Ron Chernow, author of Grant, and is moderated by Gen. David H. Petraeus (U.S. Army, retired), partner at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. and former director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
The colloquy will be rebroadcast, again on C-SPAN 2, at 4:30 a.m. the following morning, May 29.
The program falls under The Presidency category of C-SPAN’s American History TV, which airs on C-SPAN2 every Saturday. C-SPAN (the Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network) is part of the National Cable Satellite Corporation.
